Waterfalls of Gran Sabana.

Northern Venezuela

The Gran Sabana is populated by Pemon indigenous people. We passed many of their villages with typical round houses.
One of the attractions of Gran Sabana are its many waterfalls. These beautiful falls are only 50 meters from the road.
Others are harder to get to.
We camped by Quebrada del Jaspe, a waterfall named after its beautiful red rock, Jasper.
It made a good shower.
Overall we thought that cycling was the best way to see Gran Sabana, one of the most beautiful and dramatic areas of Venezuela.
