| The end point of our journey through Uruguay was the old town of Colonia; a picturesque town with well preserved colonial buildings. |

| Across the river is Buenos Aires, our final destination. It was a hazy day and we couldn’t quite make out the opposite shore. |

| Boarding the hydrofoil which would take us across to Argentina to begin our final stretch into Buenos Aires City centre. |

| The crew assured us that our bikes would be safe on the car deck. Even so, at this stage of our trip with our destination almost within sight we were reluctant to leave them even for such a short time. |
