Guided Tour
Bill used to work as a tour guide on the islands and volunteered to show us around. His tour included showing us the best way to pet a slug.
He took us on a walk in the forest with Dave’s niece, known as Shark. We were impressed by this twisted tree.
Some of the trees are so large that you can walk through cracks in their trunk. Well – if you are small like Beth and Shark.
The high level of rainfall provides ideal conditions for mushrooms which are everywhere. Some, like this one, grow directly from the tree trunks.
We also got to see some marine life like this colourful, giant starfish.
