| Although we were new to cycling we had done some training including the Coast to Coast cycle route from Whitehaven to Sunderland. |

| This is the box that Jeremy made to transport our bikes to Alaska. Making it was a bit of an effort considering that it was ditched on arrival in Anchorage but we were nervous that our virtually brand new bikes would be damaged in the standard cardboard boxes. |

| The bike boxes made it, although they had been prized open at some point and then taped back together. Fortunately nothing was damaged. |
